Centrum Air has introduced direct flights between Hyderabad and Tashkent, establishing the southern Indian city as its second destination in India. The first flight took off on September 28, 2026, marked by a launch ceremony at Hyderabad International Airport that included airport authorities, customs officials, and travel industry representatives.
This new connection operates twice weekly, building on the carrier’s existing five weekly flights between New Delhi and Tashkent. Flight C6 552 leaves Hyderabad on Tuesdays and Fridays at 03:35 local time, arriving in Tashkent at 07:45. The return journey, C6 551, departs Tashkent on Mondays and Thursdays at 21:00 and 21:30, landing in Hyderabad the next day at 02:20. Passengers on all routes receive onboard meals featuring both vegetarian and non-vegetarian choices.
The addition raises Centrum Air’s India-Uzbekistan network to seven weekly flights, reinforcing Tashkent’s role as a gateway for travelers heading deeper into Central Asia. The airline’s accelerated growth demonstrates a deliberate expansion strategy: within just one year of launching twice-weekly service from Delhi, it has doubled its capacity and now serves two Indian cities.
Adil Mirza, head of Centrum Air’s agents division, described the Hyderabad route as a significant step in the airline’s Indian operations. He stated it would enhance tourism, trade, and business exchanges between the two nations. The airline’s local sales and marketing for this connection are managed by Aeroprime Group, its exclusive general sales agent in India.
Abhishek Goyal, CEO of Aeroprime Group, observed that the route would unlock new opportunities for tourism and trade in South India. He pointed to rising interest in Uzbekistan as a destination, noting the airline’s swift expansion from two to seven weekly flights in under a year.
