Guidelines to Convert Files to PDF
There are several changes that have taken places but despite all that, I don’t see PDF going anywhere. The PDF ensure your document format is maintained regardless of the device you are using to view the document. However in case your document is in the other format you might have challenges converting it to PDF in case you are doing it from the green. Here are some of the guidelines for changing your file to PDF format.
Consider using print to windows when your documents are in windows OS. In case this is your situation here are the tips to achieve it.
The file to be converted is the first thing to do. If you want to convert one file you should double click to open it but in case you want many photos converted you should hold the control button and select the desired photos. Then, you should right-click any of the photos you have selected before you move it to the print option.
The second thing you need to do is to open the print option which can be achieved by pressing CTRL and P at the same time. Lack of a printer should not worry you because it’s not needed.
Selecting the name of the printer is the other step to follow. The printer name is close to the printers heading. Now that you are not going to print the document but to convert its format to PDF this step isn’t that necessary.
Pick the Microsoft print to PDF. In case you are not sure where to find this menu you should check it on the dropdown menu. In case your document is in XPS format then you will achieve the mission by dropping to select printer option and choosing the Microsoft print to PDF menu.
Then you should click on the print button. In case you are using office application such as Microsoft word you will find the option at the top menu although it’s normally found at the bottom of your screen. The explorer window will open when you click on the option.
The six-step is to name the document. At this stage you will be given an option to write the name you wish to identify the document with but you should remember that this is a different extension and therefore you can retain the original name of the documents and still save it in the same location.
Select where you want to save your document. If you check on your left-hand side you will be able to see options for location and you can choose any, for example, the desktop or documents, etc. From that, you should click on save and your PDF file will be saved.
